A spectacular modern house in its own stunning, classically walled garden by the sea
Modern Luxury
The Garden House easily provides luxurious and spacious accommodation with views across the garden to the sea, a garden turret and beach hut for guest’s own personal use, plus use of a private beach.

Perfectly positioned within the privacy of a Grade II listed, classic walled garden on the 350-acre Rousdon Estate, the Garden House sleeps up to 12 guests in private contemporary luxury.

More about the house...

A stunning double height conservatory allows light to pour in and enormous French doors open onto a south facing terrace made private by the one-acre, historic walled garden.
The one-acre gardens are expansive, walled, beautiful and private. Perfect for families.
A bespoke kitchen with steel worktops is designed to comfortably accommodate large groups of friends and families around a beautiful custom-made Dinesen dining table. The terrace bordering the house provides superb additional living and al fresco dining spaces.

Luxury interiors

The first floor mezzanine features a viewing platform over the Jurassic Coast and Lyme Bay, with a telescope for planet searching and star gazing at night.

The property has six bedrooms, with three en-suites, and offers versatile and flexible bed configurations with accommodation for up to 12. Learn more about these here.
The house was designed and furnished to allow tall people (like the owner) to stay in comfort so all shower heads are extra-height-adjustable, and the larger beds are long without footboards.

...and the most astonishing garden

The sprawling, historic walled garden is set in an acre of private mixed meadow, wild flower and lawns, complete with an arched pavilion overlooking the gardens and a fairytale turret overlooking the Jurassic Coast.
Parking for five cars and an electric vehicle charger.

Guests at The Garden House are able to use the owners’ Beach Hut located on Lyme Regis Marine Parade - equipped with beach chairs, tables, windbreak and buckets and spades.

And for those wanting privacy, guests also have access to the estate's private beach.
